Research Interests

Márton Bagyura, PhD is a junior research fellow at the Centre for Social Sciences, Budapest. He earned his PhD at the Eötvös Loránd University in 2023. His main research interests include urban planning, suburbanisation, sexual minorities, aging, burden of family carers. As part of his doctoral studies he conducted research for six months at the University of Duisburg-Essen in Germany (Erasmus+ scholarship). In 2021, he received a research grant of the New National Excellence Programme. He participates as a researcher in projects "The sociology of urban planning - urban planning and society" and "The potential and limitations of smart technologies in the light of social acceptance". He has published articles in both Hungarian and international journals, including Geographica Pannonica and Urban Planning.
